It‘s been a while since I’ve shown you a snapshot of the living room … so here we go!

Wondering what the next project will be. Have plans to paint the green wall eventually, but am very unsure of color. Thinking gray. Anyone who has any good tips to grayscale?

Anyways, the contact plastic of marble comes into shop this week, and I’m ecstatic! F I N A L L Y !!!

  1. Hello!

I love the colors, the very pretty pastel tones work very well with black. I’m not sure about gray for the back wall… maybe a pale warm shade of gray RAL 7036 or 7004?

But from the picture I think something like this would work really well on that wall:

I like that it’s not too bold but it adds just a little detail. I’d stay in this sort of palette as well:

    maybe copper?

Anyway, your room is beautiful and I hope this helps

    1. Hey sweetie!

Thank you sooo much for great feedback! I love the nude interiors and the boldness inn a DIY wall 😀 Soo cool, great tips!

I’ll check out the gray scales next time I’m in the paint shop. Grey is an exciting but also difficult color. There are so many variations of it. I think probably that when I decide to take away the green wall I want maybe a bit colder and more minimalist expression here. May of course paint the wall white, but I like the contrast it creates in the room when it is colored. So if you have any more tips feel free to shout out! 🙂 Thank you so much for your visit, enjoyable with regular readers! 😀

      Have a great day!! 😀 HUGS **

  2. Hi Elisabeth,

We have just got the keys to our new home! While looking at the décor, I stumbled into your blog. What an inspiration!

We will start with the painting while the place is still empty. So I got a few questions for you, if you have time! (with wedding planning on the way, I know time is scarce.)

Do you have any tips of where we should buy and what types of paint (in Oslo)? We are interested in sustainable décor so I am considering that for paint as well.

I like the Lofoten color you have on your TV wall. We are thinking about having something similar. Is there any reason why you didn’t have anything else on the wall, rather than the TV?

Last!! 🙂 What is your experience with wall paper? I couldn’t find anything on your posts about that.

    Thanks a lot! X
    Lana
