Good morning folks.

Do you have a lovely weekend? At the moment I sit to look at the world’s finest daughter. She crawls around here, tired but happy! 🙂 The plan is to enjoy every second we have together today. The evening is dedicated to reunion with high school. So I expect that tomorrow is devoted to the couch. At least part of it .. * laughs *

I love to sit at the table here and drink the morning coffee. The large window gives me the world’s best spaciousness!

Have a lovely Saturday!

Hey you!

Do you remember that I had a large dining table in one part of our living room? Well, now I’ve split up the dining room table. So here you can see the new dining room. The space where it originally stood has endless possibilities. Can not wait to show you!

Now I have to run off at the gym before a wedding and a birthday celebration waiting for me. Busy week, busy weekend! : D

CONTRAST

Finally, the last piece fell into place. Have always felt it lacked something over at our dining room, and I feel the contrast of the black corner gives me exactly what was missing. Although it is a harsh contrast I think it actually helps to soften up the room a bit, by making it less sterile. Nice to break up all the white.

I will soon be off on a job meeting, before I go home and enjoy myself with my baby again ♥ Miss her allready…

Wishing you all a lovely day!

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

This week I have chosen a slightly different wall decoration. I love to use my chairs. Both the interior, but also as art. Something they are A piece of art.

Well, this week I hung up an old flea market chair to create a Nordic expression at home. Love the soft wood against the otherwise hard and cold surfaces. This week I focus on a more graphic and minimalist expression. Starting tonight.

I wish you wonderful Sunday! 🙂

Not only did I get one of my beloved ones home yesterday I got two!! Sindre finally came home from Oslo, and his better half (me 😀) had sent him on a mission. My kind gentleman came therefore home with my other love yesterday … CHAIR ONE!! * Scream *

Finally you are mine! I’m thrilled! : D

Magis Chair One is designed in 2003 by Konstantin Grcic. Designer Konstantin Grcic wanted to use the least material to create the most product. His goal was to combine comfort with structure. And for me, this is pure art. I love it!

The Masters Chair, designed by Phillippe Starck for Kartell, is a tribute to the Series 7 Chair by Arne Jacobsen, the Tulip Chair by Eero Saarinen and the DSR or Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames.

It’s as comfortable as it is lovely. I think i might have a tiny crush on it! ;D
